We have Forward Momentum!!

Yesterday (Saturday) Thomas figured out that crawling can take you forward as well. He has been crawling and scooting on the floor for the last couple of weeks, but only backwards. Yesterday we had the first official crawling movements!!! Mommy and Daddy were both there to witness it as well.

I can't believe how fast this first year is going and how big he is getting. He has now also officially outgrown his infant car seat. We spent Saturday buying new car seats for the vehicle - realizing that this car seat will work until he was 4' 4" tall. John was blown away thinking that Thomas would one day be that big!!!

Tom fell asleep in his chair

Too sleepy to finish eating...

Tom was feeling a little under the weather the past couple of days (he coughs himself almost awake in the video) so Amanda took him to the doctor just to make sure. He's fine, we think, but we got some stats. 21 lbs 14 oz, 27.5 inches long. That was yesterday.

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello all. Sorry it's been so long since our last update. We are all doing well - enjoyed my first Mother's Day. John made breakfast for me and supper for me, including dessert. It was wonderful. Thomas got me flowers (which Daddy helped him order and pay for) and at day care they also made me a framed picture of him with a hand print and little poem in it. Both of these made me tear up. It was a wonderful day. We also celebrated our 12 year anniversary - can you believe it? It was a great weekend. I will post pictures soon. Thomas has grown so much. He has his top 2 teeth now too and he enjoys eating anything that requires chewing :-) He's growing up so quickly.
