 Sammy took one look and took off toward Mom. After Tommy got on Santa's lap, though, Sammy was pretty quick to follow.

 "And Santa, I need black guy, white guy, and orange guy from my new Cars movie."  At least he hasn't changed his mind...

Proud Mommy

So proud of Tommy yesterday when we brought our toys to Toys for Tots at my work. He picked them out at Target. When we dropped them off, he told everyone these toys were for boys and girls who didn't get presents on Christmas. He told everyone that Marines would come get the toys and bring them to boys & girls. Told everyone that Marines are solders & protect us. Told everyone that Ryan is a soldier, but a different kind of soldier, but he was being a soldier now. Brought tears to my eyes. He's such a sweet boy. I think he was pretty proud. I know Mommy sure was.

We celebrated Sammy's 1st birthday this weekend. Thanks to all of you that made it, and to all of you that were there in thought! Thanks to everyone for the great gifts and hugs and kisses. It was a great day!

Big Steps

Sammy is officially walking!!! He took a few steps the other night and this weekend was taking steps back and forth all over the place. He'll do as many as 6-7 at a time. He will just hold our hand and walk along as well. My baby is getting so big!!!

I can't believe he's almost a year old already!

Tommy had a pretty big accomplishment the other day as well. He went into the bathroom all by himself and went potty on his potty chair without anyone's help!! Way to go!! Both of my boys are getting so big so quickly!!!

You may notice that Tommy's nose is a little red in these pictures. After taking his recycling out and doing his "chore" tonight, Tommy fell when running up the driveway and landed flat on his face. He has a little road scape on his nose and upper lip, and had a really, really bloody nose. He's fine now, minus the red nose, but had a little scare I think.


Sammy is nothing but a happy baby. He sure comes running when you start taking pictures though :-)
