Some New Pictures

Thomas really didn't want to put this car ornament on the tree. I'm pretty sure he was thinking it belonged in his toy box. He's making the 'driving' noises for it and everything. Helping Mommy decorate the tree.

Still adjusting to Daddy's new job....

Thomas woke up this morning missing Daddy I think. After giving me a hug and kiss, he made a bee line for our bedroom, looked up at the bed, and yelled Dadda. I put him up there explaining that Dadda was already on the way to work, but Dadda would know he loved him and he could give him a kiss on his picture. Thomas ran for the living room to get Daddy's picture. We picked it up, looked at it (he had to point out which one was Dadda to me), and gave Dadda a big sloppy kiss on the picture. I told him Dadda could feel that he loved him and told Thomas that Dadda loved him....his response: "yeah" with a nod, like duh Mom I knew that. :-) What a sweetie we have.

Had to share these pictures of our little one...either standing in a bucket, bucket on the head, in a box, or in a toy box. I don't know what's wrong with just sitting on a couch!!! :-)

First Trick or Treats

Thomas missed out in trick or treats last year, but this year had a blast. Our little Yoda made it around to a few houses and did really well...now we'll see if we can avoid the stomach aches from too much candy.

A year ago today....

It's hard to believe...this is what we were doing a year ago today. Happy Birthday Thomas John Herring! You have filled our lives with happiness and joy - and we treasure every minute we have with you. Mommy and Daddy Love You!!!

My 1st Birthday Party

Well, our one year mark is almost here. Thomas had his first birthday party today...and we all had a blast! We made too much food...and ate too much food and cake and ice cream, but I believe everyone had a blast (or at least I hope so). Thomas certainly did! He also got some great presents! Thanks to everyone who made it to celebrate in person and in thought!!!
